Y7-13 Note-taking & Organization

Note-taking Expectations

As a community of learners in the 21st century, we constantly engage with information in all forms. How we filter, distill, synthesize, and summarize these mountains of information is important to help us make sense of the world. Note-taking is a fundamental to remembering and processing information.

CIS has expectations aligned with subject area and project goals for how students can take notes to best engage with class materials and information. These note-taking methods prepare each student for the IB and the world beyond!
